EMPHA members elect new President

On 13 November 2020 EMPHA had a good and overall well attended online General Assembly. During the meeting various topics were discussed such as the composition of the Board and the recent conducted EMPHA Member Survey. We are happy to announce that Mr. Tony Moscrop has been elected as the new President of EMPHA. 

Tony Moscrop is CEO of Dufaylite Group Ltd, a UK based manufacturer of paper honeycomb and paper honeycomb board products, which celebrated 65 years in the paper honeycomb industry in October 2020.

Tony says he was honored to receive the support of the EMPHA Board and Membership at the November General Assembly in electing him President of EMPHA in its 10th year since incorporation, and at such an exciting time for the industry. Sustainability is high on most agendas and really driving change in many market sectors, opening up many new opportunities and applications for both paper honeycomb core and paper honeycomb board applications.

Tony believes that EMPHA is now well established with strong foundations, strong member companies and clear objectives to build from. With the members survey results presented at the GA, the board will be able to set out a short term action plan. The planned European Market Analysis will help set a medium term direction for promotion and growth of EMPHA and provide the members with the information to plan for profitable growth of their businesses by taking advantage of the many opportunities that are being presented by sustainability drivers and initiatives.
